Call our helpline to speak to our fully trained staff in confidence, anonymously if you prefer. We’re independent of the police, and you can contact us at any time. You can dial 141 before calling to hide your number depending on your network provider.
How we can help
We’ll listen with compassion and tailor support to you. Our teams can:
- explain your rights and entitlements
- connect you with local Victim Support services for ongoing help
- share information about specialist organisations where appropriate.
You’re always in control. You can end the call at any time, and you do not need to share your name or location unless you want to.
To access ongoing support after a terrorist incident, please use our referral form.
Interpretation and accessible ways to contact us
If English is not your first language, you can request an interpreter when you call and speak in the language you’re most comfortable using.
If you are Deaf or hard of hearing, or speech impaired, you can contact us through Relay UK, a free service that helps you communicate over the phone using a relay assistant. You’ll only pay your normal call charges. Relay UK works via an app on your smartphone or tablet.
You can also contact us using British Sign Language (BSL) through our partner Convo. This free service connects you to a professional BSL interpreter, who will help you contact Victim Support.
